Slazenger has marked the start of 2012 by announcing the addition of England and Surrey star, Chris Tremlett, to its already impressive stable of cricket talent.
Six-foot-eight Tremlett will endorse Slazenger’s V Series equipment including the V100 bat which is designed to enhance maneuverability without compromising power and performance.
The fast bowler, who starred in both of England’s 2010 and 2011 Ashes victories, is the latest in a growing list of England players to choose Slazenger V Series. James Anderson, Eoin Morgan, Matt Prior and Tim Bresnan are already endorsees of the range.
Tremlett, whose father Tim and grandfather Maurice were both County cricketers, will first use the Slazenger V Series range in England’s upcoming three test series against Pakistan in the UAE.
Chris said: “I’m delighted to join the Slazenger team. Many of the leading players in world cricket use Slazenger V Series equipment which highlights why, in my opinion, Slazenger is the leading brand in cricket right now. I’m extremely proud to be part of that.”
Sunny Singh, Head of Sports Marketing for Slazenger, said: “Chris is yet another superb signing for the Slazenger brand. Each time we sign a player of his calibre, it is a further testament to the quality and credibility of the product. Tim will be a great ambassador for us and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
